The Chalet étoile is an historic restaurant located at the foot of the Cervino. It was created by
Cesare Frassy, who manages it since 1974. Today his swedish wife Ulla and his daughter and son Caroline and Kalle also contribute to the success of this amazing restaurant. During these 40 years, we always tried to offer to them the best, by changing the setting to increase the comfort offered to our clients and by offering high quality food. Our chef Ulla, over the years, has been researching different dishes to propose to our customers, increasing our menu with innovative recipes including reindeer filet tempura, ravioli with king crab. Our menu varies from fish to meat and to the traditional dishes of our region. Furthermore, to go along with the incredible flavor of our dishes, we do have a vast variety of local/non local wines.
Why Chalet étoile has become an Into the World Supporter?
We have decided to support the project of Into the World first of all because it is a great cause.
We know Jenissa and Coralie since a long time and since the beginning, when this project was only an idea still, we have always encouraged them to keep going on believing that one day they will manage to do great things for a very good purpose. And less then a year later so they did.
We do not need many words to explain why we are supporting this project because we do think that the only fact that those two young women are willing to spend their time, money and energy in helping others, especially children, is per se a wonderful humanitarian act and we should all learn from them.
